When we got to New Zealand my family and I had to go into a managed isolation quarantine also called MIQ. People had to go into MIQ so covid 19 could not get into New Zealand. The quarantine could last two weeks or more, it would matter if you had close contact with someone else. There were army people every were I looked, and we had to have a mask on at all times or we would get more time in MIQ. The hotel we were in was located in Rotorua, New Zealand. We got lucky because we were next to the horse track when a horse race took place. My dad weaved us all hats and we all cheered them on. When we first got there they would not let us go outside because of covid 19, so when dad found out that we can open the window, he was overjoyed. After we went through a few days, we got a blue band so we could go outside. Our exercise area was just a roundabout with a fence around it so we could not get out. It was not fun. But when we got our covid tests the woman that did them gave us sugar and bubbles. When we got out of MIQ we got in our rental car and we drove three hours to get to our new house in Gizzy. THE END!
